Welcome to Studio & Street (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of studioandstreet.com and any related services, pages, forms, or communications (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) Who we are & our role
Studio & Street is an online directory that helps users discover studios and creative venues. We do not own, manage, operate, or control the listed venues and we do not provide studio services. When you contact or book a venue, you are dealing with that venue directly. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a venue and are not responsible for venue actions, availability, quality, pricing, policies, or compliance.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
3) Accounts & communications
You may submit inquiries or create an account (if enabled). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You consent to receive communications from us and venues you contact (e.g., replies, confirmations, follow-ups). You can unsubscribe from our non-transactional emails at any time.
4) Listings, prices & bookings
- Venue content (descriptions, photos, amenities, policies, prices, availability) is provided by venues or third parties. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness.
- Booking terms (rates, deposits, fees, insurance, permits, cancellation, rules) are set by the venue. Review the venue’s contract and policies carefully before booking.
- If payments are handled on external platforms or by the venues, those transactions are solely between you and the venue/processor.
5) Your content & reviews
If you submit content (e.g., inquiries, reviews, photos, comments):
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content to operate and promote the Site.
- You represent you own the content or have permission, and that it does not infringe, is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
- We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Site; scrape without permission; attempt to access non-public areas; interfere with security or operations;
- post unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content;
- impersonate others; or
- use the Site to spam, advertise unrelated services, or engage in fraudulent activity.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
7) Intellectual property
The Site (design, logos, text, software, photos we create/own) is protected by IP laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or by our written permission. Trademarks and logos displayed are the property of their owners.
Takedown: If you believe content infringes your rights, email [legal@studioandstreet.com] with details (URL, your contact info, proof of rights). We’ll review promptly.
8) Third-party links & services
The Site may link to third-party sites or services (including venue websites and payment processors). We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Use them at your own risk.
9) Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect and use data. By using the Site, you consent to our privacy practices.
10) Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT VENUE INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. WE DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, PERMITTING, OR SAFETY ADVICE.
11) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY VENUE INTERACTIONS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; portions of this section may not apply to you.
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Studio & Street and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your content; (c) your interactions or agreements with venues; or (d) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13) Venue/Studio owners — additional terms
If you manage a listing:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, availability, pricing, policies, photos, and compliance with applicable laws (permits, occupancy, insurance, safety, accessibility, taxes).
- You represent you have the rights to all content you upload and grant us the license in Section 5.
- You agree to handle inquiries promptly and in good faith, and to maintain appropriate insurance.
14) Changes to the Site and Terms
We may modify the Site and these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violations of these Terms.
16) Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country] without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
